Guest editors:

We invite contributors from a range of contexts to submit abstracts for consideration in the upcoming special issue focused on parents, caregivers, and community in mathematics education.

In general, we are interested in articles that address, but are not limited to:
1. In what ways does caregiver and community engagement in mathematics education benefit marginalised learners in particular?
2. How have caregivers and communities experienced barriers or pathways to engagement with mathematics education?
3. How do educators address barriers or leverage pathways for school–home–community collaborations?
4. How might the increased use of online programmes for mathematics learning at home impact mathematics learner identity and the interactions with parents and caregivers over mathematics homework?
5. What new trends are emerging in the relationships among mathematics, caregivers, and community?
