BioMetals - Passing away of our former Associate Editor, Prof. Pierre Cornelis

We are deeply sorry to share the sad news that our former Associate Editor Pierre Cornelis had passed away in December 2023.

Pierre has served as the Associate Editor of BioMetals journal between 2020-2022 with great enthusiasm and commitment. He was also a current honorary board member of the journal and a dedicated former member of the International BioMetals society.

We are grateful for his contributions and efforts to develop the journal and we send our deepest condolences to his family, friends, and colleagues.
