Aims and scope

The Biology Bulletin is a peer-reviewed journal on all topics in biology. The main attention is paid to fundamental research in the field of theoretical and evolutionary biology, cell biology, biochemistry, developmental biology, zoology, genetics, botany, plant physiology, animal and human physiology, and ecology. The journal accepts submissions reporting the latest original, not yet published, experimental research on topical problems of biology. Biology Bulletin publishes English translations of selected papers from several original journals and original unsolicited papers in English. The source of each article is described at the article level on the title page. The final decision on publication in Biology Bulletin is made by its editors, regardless of the source. The editorial and peer review rules are the same for all translated and original articles. In an effort to become an international publication, the journal accepts submissions in English from all countries.
