Call for Papers: Dr. Shivaji Sircar Memorial Issue

We would like to invite you to contribute to a Special Issue of Adsorption that will be dedicated to the memory of Dr. Shivaji Sircar, a Fellow of the International Adsorption Society, who passed away in February 2020.  The Special Issue will be a celebration of Shivaji’s life and times as we honor his contributions to the Adsorption community.  Shivaji was a prolific researcher and his work spanned virtually every area of Adsorption Science and Technology.  Potential topics include:

  • Pressure swing adsorption processes
  • Concentration swing adsorption processes
  • Nano-porous adsorbent membranes
  • Sorption-enhanced reaction processes
  • Fundamental, theoretical and experimental studies of gas and liquid adsorption
  • Techniques for measurement of multicomponent equilibria and mass transfer
  • Adsorbent characterization
  • Design and operation of bench and pilot scale equipment for process and material testing
  • Process optimization and scale-up
  • Rapid pressure swing adsorption processes
  • High temperature chemisorbents for CO2 capture, storage and utilization

All submissions will undergo anonymous review to guarantee high scientific quality and relevance to the subject. The Special Issue will be published at the end of 2020, which means that we will need your manuscript by August 15th, 2020. To submit your paper to the special issue, go to  https://www.editorialmanager.com/adso/Default.aspx. When you submit the article, select "Manuscript” as the article type and when prompted if the article is to belong to a Special Issue, select yes and select the "Sircar Memorial Issue."
