We prepared an explanation of the publishing process and relevant information for guest editors. We invite you to read this document carefully; they will help you with the preparation and successful implementation of a topical collection.

When you are ready to start preparing a proposal, we invite you to do so via the form we prepared. This will provide us with the information we need to be able to make a fast and well-informed decision.

As a result of the significant disruption that is being caused by the COVID-19 pandemic we are very aware that many researchers will have difficulty in meeting the timelines associated with our peer review process during normal times.  Please do let us know if you need additional time. Our systems will continue to remind you of the original timelines but we intend to be highly flexible at this time.
