Microfluidics and Nanofluidics - Call for Papers: Topical selections from IEEE-NEMS 2020

Authors are invited to revise their IEEE-NEMS 2020 papers and submit them to Microfluidics and Nanofluidics for consideration for publication in the journal.

Microfluidics and Nanofluidics publishes original research work covering the scope of microfluidics, nanofluidics, and lab-on-a-chip devices. Topics covered in this journal include:

1. Fundamental principles of micro- and nanoscale phenomena like, flow, mass transport and reactions

2. Theoretical models and numerical simulation with experimental and/or analytical proof

3. Novel measurement & characterization technologies

4. Devices (actuators and sensors)

5. New unit-operations for dedicated microfluidic platforms

6. Lab-on-a-Chip applications

7. Microfabrication technologies and materials

Your manuscript should be based on the IEEE-NEMS 2020 paper but must build significantly on it, with at least 30% of the submitted results representing new research. Additional text, figures and references are obligatory, and no passages of texts or figures should be identical to your conference paper as this could breach copyright. A nearly exact duplicate of the conference paper will be rejected.

Submission deadline: May 1, 2021

Your paper should be submitted to the Topical Collection via the Microfluidics and Nanofluidics online submission site stating, when prompted, that the paper is for IEEE-NEMS 2020.

Submission details, such as how to format your manuscript, can be found in the Microfluidics and Nanofluidics author guide: https://www.springer.com/journal/10404/submission-guidelines
