Journal of Pest Science - Call for Papers: Collection “Recent Advances in Botanical Biocides”

The Journal of Pest Science is seeking submissions for a Special Issue on Recent Advances in Botanical Biocides” guest edited by Giovanni Benelli (University of Pisa, Italy), Orlando Campolo (Mediterranean University of Reggio Calabria, Italy), Ana Azucena (Spanish National Research Council, Spain), Murray B. Isman (University of British Columbia, Canada) and Roman Pavela (Crop Research Institute, Cech Republic).

The special issue explores the latest developments in the field of sustainable pest control using botanicals. This collection of articles covers the latest research, innovations, and discoveries in the use of botanicals to control pests of agricultural, medical-veterinary importance, forestry, urban, and stored products. Contributions addressing the problems of regulatory approval and health and safety issues are welcome. Readers can expect to find in-depth examinations of novel botanical pesticides, their modes of action, efficacy, sub-lethal effects, formulation, environmental impact, and their potential applications in agriculture, pest management, and sustainable pest control practices. The special issue offers valuable insights to develop safer and more eco-friendly alternatives to traditional chemical pesticides.
