Call for Papers - Special Issue at the occasion of IFORS 2023, Santiago, Chile: “Game Theory, Market Design, and Mathematical Economics”
In conjunction with the 23rd Conference of the International Federation of Operational Research Societies (https://ifors2023.com), the Central European Journal of Operations Research (CEJOR) will publish a Special Issue having the following deadline: 30 January 2024 (earlier submission is encouraged).
CEJOR is the official journal of the Österreichische Gesellschaft für Operations Research (https://www.springer.com/journal/10100). The journal offers high quality papers that cover the theory and practice of operations research and the relationship of operations research methods to modern quantitative economics and business administration.
Topics of Interest:
Mathematical models serve as a tool to formulate theoretical relationships in many areas enabling general and clear analysis of theoretical ad practical problems. Economy is one of the most challenging application fields of mathematical methods. Especially interesting is the area of market behavior and market design where already in the past decades game theory proved to be very powerful tool. Currently, a systemic approach to problems and advanced analytical methods are even more vital than in the past. This Special Issue will focus on the recent trends in market design with particular attention to game theory. Original and high-quality papers dealing with theoretical, methodological and applications aspects of mathematical economics are most welcome.
Topics of interest include, but not limited to:
- Matching with Preferences
- Portfolio Optimization
- Stochastic Games and Control
- Financial and Management Accounting.
Scholars participating in the 23rd Conference of the International Federation of Operational Research Societies are invited to submit their unpublished papers to this special issue. Any other researcher interested in the topics of this call can submit his original paper as well. Submitted papers should not have been previously published nor being currently under consideration for publication elsewhere. All papers will follow the standard peer review process of CEJOR.
All papers must be submitted online through the Journal editorial manager and the maximum number of pages allowed is 25. The format of manuscripts for CEJOR as well as guidelines and templates can be found on the following web page: https://www.springer.com/journal/10100/submission-guidelines. During the online submission, please make sure to select “SI: Game Theory, Market Design, and Mathematical Economics” in the first step of the submission process.
