Clinical Rheumatology - Impact and Specific Considerations of COVID-19 for Clinical Rheumatologists

Call for papers for a special collection in Clinical Rheumatology

On behalf of the Editor-in-Chief, Prof. Carlos Pineda, we invite authors to submit manuscripts (Original Research articles, Review articles, Letters of Biomedical and Clinical Research, Perspectives in Rheumatology, Case-Based Reviews and Letters to Editor) on the topic "Impact and Specific Considerations of COVID-19 for Clinical Rheumatologists" to Clinical Rheumatology

As a result of the significant disruption that is being caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, we think our readers must be kept up-to-date on this crucial subject. Therefore, it is our pleasure to introduce a new Topical Collection, conducted by Prof. César Ramos-Remus, our Guest Editor.

The new Topical Collection could include all fields of basic and clinical rheumatology related to:

  • Immune dysregulation mechanisms
  • Comorbidities
  • Social determinants
  • Pharmacological considerations
  • Health policies
  • New role for the rheumatologist in the COVID-19 era
  • Interactions and risks of potential treatments for COVID-19
  • Rehabilitation issues

Submissions should include "Impact and Specific Considerations of COVID-19 for Clinical Rheumatologists Topical Collection" during submission and on the cover letter.

Deadline for submissions: 20th July 2020

For more information about this new Topical Collection, please contact the Guest Editor, Prof. César Ramos-Remus (r_ramos@prodigy.net.mx (this opens in a new tab)) at Clinical Rheumatology.
