Hernia - Call for Papers

Dear HERNIA readers,

In the course of next year, HERNIA Journal, published by Springer Nature, will release a Special Issue on Hot Topics in Hiatal Hernia.

For this issue we will have four Eminent Authors who will contribute as Guest Editors: Alberto Aiolfi and Luigi Bonavina from Milan, John Lipham from Los Angeles and Dimitris Theodorus from Athens.

As Guest Editors, they will propose one or more papers each; in addition, they will each suggest 2 to 4 authors who are very well known in the field to be invited to contribute on “hot topics” in HIATAL HERNIA.

In the meantime, we invite all HERNIA Journal readers to submit papers on their experience in this specific field.

In accordance with the Editorial rules of the HERNIA Journal, all papers received (in the form of Original paper, Review, How I do it, or even Letter to Editor or very selected case series) will undergo, as usual, peer review.

And of course, only accepted papers will be published in the Special Issue.

As usual, we will have a lot of new proposals and discussions.

Thus, I encourage all of you to start preparing and submitting your papers ASAP, and in any case no later than the end of March 2024.

In the end, we will have this Special Issue and we will put the papers in a Topical Collection.
