About the author

Prof. Md. Abdus Salam obtained his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the Universiti Teknologi Malaysia in 2000. He is an Adjunct with the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Western University, London, ON, Canada and currently, he is teaching at Conestoga College, Guelph, ON, Canada. His research interests include power systems modelling for on-line control, insulator pollution studies, grounding systems, Quality Engineering and renewable energy. He is a author of a few Electrical Engineering Textbooks and he has published numerous peer-reviewed articles in different journals and conference papers. He is a senior member of IEEE, Member and Chartered Engineer (CEng) of IET.
