About the authors
Wenfeng Li graduated from South China Agriculture University, and holds a bachelor’s degree in Entomology. He is a researcher at Yunnan Academy of Agriculture Sciences, Director of the Plant Protection Center and Pathology Lab at the Sugarcane Research Institute, a post scientist of Yunnan Province, the national visiting scholar of " The Western light". He has focused on research into sugarcane diseases and pests for 31 years. He has received 3 second prize and 5 third prize technology awards from China's Ministry of Agriculture and Yunnan Province. He holds 9 patent authorizations, has published 100 papers, 15 SCI papers; edited 2 monographs and participated in 6 monographs; and formulated 3 standards.
Rongyue Zhang graduated from Yunnan Agriculture University, and holds a master’s degree in Plant Pathology. He worked at Yunnan Sugarcane Research Institute in 2011. He is an Assistant Research Fellow at Yunnan Sugarcane Research Institute, and focuses on research into the major sugarcane diseases, including diagnosisand detection methods of sugarcane diseases. He holds 92 patents, has published 10 papers, 6 SCI papers and has participated in 4 monographs and 4 standards.
Xiaoyan Wang graduated from Yunnan Agriculture University, and holds a master’s degree in Plant Pathology. He worked at Yunnan Sugarcane Research Institute in 2008. He conducted a two-month study on sugarcane diseases at the BSES Sugarcane Pathology Laboratory in Australia in 2011. He is an Associate Research Fellow at Yunnan Sugarcane Research Institute. He has received 1 second prize, and 1 third prize technology award from Yunnan Agriculture Ministry. He holds 6 patents, has published 10 papers, 6 SCI papers, and has participated in 5 monographs and 5 standards.
