Like you and our research community, we aim to deepen the understanding of our social, economic and environmental engagement across the globe. In 2015, the United Nations General Assembly adopted a sustainable development agenda as a universal call to action considering these three dimensions. SDG 12 on Responsible Consumption and Production addresses the urgent need to promote resource and energy efficiency together with sustainability practices.

How can chemistry help to meet the SDG 12 agenda?

As we navigate through economic and social progress, and challenging transitions, there is a greater need to ensure sustainable consumption and production patterns.
