"Ever since I had my article published in first issue of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (Vol 1, Nr. 1, 1976), I was looking to publish a book with Springer. In 2011, I received an invitation from Springer to develop and publish my book, EAR RECONSTRUCTION, which came out in 2013. Afterwards I have had five books published by Springer under excellent relationships with all the people in charge of publication. As I have published 25 books in the scientific and Brazilian literature, I am glad to certify that Springer is an outstanding publisher and a very well qualified organization. We have had a wonderful relationship, and I feel comfortable to declare that it is a great pleasure to work with Springer."

"The job of an author does not end after completing the manuscript. It’s just the first phase of the journey which culminates once the book is in the hands of the reader and a good publishing house is the ‘travel’ companion.

I have enjoyed each phase of my journey as a Medical author with Springer Publishers. They are open to new ideas, methodical in the publication process and have a good dedicated team which makes the ride smooth. The proposal contract process is transparent and makes sure that the author is not blindsided later in the process. I would love to continue publishing with Springer, 'happily ever after'."

"Publishing the book of Nuclear Cardiology – Basic and Advanced Concepts in Clinical Practice with SPRINGER was the fulfilment of a dream of many years. When I was the President of the Brazilian Society of

Nuclear Medicine, I realized the need for a book that approached in a practical way the performance and interpretation of nuclear medicine exams in the clinic, allowing doctors to make useful decisions for the lives of patients. The experience of editing the book with my colleague Dr. Maria Fernanda Rezende was very good. The Associate Editor in Clinical Medicine, Vanessa Shimabukuro approached us in a very professional way and supported us in every step towards the completion of the book. There were dozens of collaborators in multiple countries who interacted in a very positive way and the result shows the importance of the international collaborative effort in science. I look forward to the opportunity to publish other books through Springer."

"With very little experience in all of the many processes related to book editing and publication, our research team was excited about the book, but a little intimidated by the process. The team at Springer was open and communicative about timelines and expectations early on. As one of the editors, I received many questions from the authors (during “crunch time” there were MANY) and these were answered thoroughly by Springer staff. The overall timeline of the book delivery was optimistic, and we met our deadlines with no problem. Please consider submitting a book proposal. This won’t be a process you’ll move through alone."

Our book went online on Nov 12, 2019 and I am delighted to see that within a year there are over 10,000 chapter downloads. This speaks a lot about Springer. It was a great experience to edit a book for Springer. Once book title and chapters were approved, our editorial team has an auto-pilot experience. Springer team was very patient with the final chapter submission deadlines and for each step provided a team of experienced professionals. The final product looks very good and we editors received rave reviews on its looks and contents. The entire process was handled by Springer in highly professional manner with friendly attitude. I would like to encourage some of my colleagues to give Springer a try. I would love to do another book after one year.

First and foremost, working with Springer is starting a collaboration for life that goes far beyond just publishing a book. Quality always comes first, book visibility is key and life-long friendship is a nice side-effect. Secondly, I also appreciate the personal contacts with my publisher during several workshops to promote my book. We not only talked about possible topics for my next book on these workshops, but also had enjoyable chats about the important things in life. Finally, professionalism and focus on academic rigor is what typifies Springer the most. I have no reasons to ever switch to another publisher, and for my next book(s), I will surely knock on Springer’s door again."

"I have published three books with Springer and two others are being prepared. The first of these, ‘Urban morphology, an introduction to the study of the physical form of cities’, has reached more than 20.000 downloads and 140 citations, after four years of publication. Springer, and particularly the team of ‘The Urban Book Series’ led by Juliana Pitanguy, are effective partners in each of these experiences.  “Working with Springer is an honour for me as I am surrounded with fully professional, understanding and very constructive people who always know what the best direction to take an idea to the next level, and ultimately to create a high quality, internationally significant publication. Over the last decade I came across a number of highly trained Springer professionals who always showed a human face to deal with the creation of scientific outputs. Managing the Advances in Volcanology book series that is endorsed as an official professional book set by the International Association of Volcanology and Chemistry of the Earth Interior is an easy task with such highly trained and open minded experts. I also greatly appreciated the support I got to create a unique book “Geoheritage of Volcanic Harrats in Saudi Arabia” published recently and the patience and guidance on the currently slowly evolving book I am preparing; “Photographic Atlas of Monogenetic Volcanism."
