About this book

This book provides a fundamental and practical introduction to Enterprise Engineering, demonstrating how to employ this approach to map the essence of an organization at the core level of internal cooperation. It then explains how, based on these insights, organizations can benefit from opportunities for improvement that would have otherwise gone unnoticed.

Further, the book explains how to adapt the structure of an organization to the needs of its management and offers valuable tools for improving and perfecting it, along with guidelines on implementing profound and sustainable organizational changes. The examples and cases it presents show an increase in efficiency of up to 70% and increases in productivity and sales performance of more than 40%, once the flaws in an organization’s structure have been identified and resolved.

About the authors

Drs. Theo Janssen is a trained mathematician with a profound work experience in the ICT industry. He has successfully assisted large and small change programs in the past twenty years within various organizations and companies. As a consultant he is working with both small businesses and multinationals to substantially increase efficiency and effectiveness by redesigning the internal and external collaboration. As a speaker he challenges his audience to think outside the box regarding the inner construction elements of organizations.

Reviews

“Janssen critically examines the failure of organizational change efforts and proposes an antidote. He contends that by systematically applying the emerging science of enterprise engineering, organizations can permanently create more long-term value for their stakeholders. I agree. … If you are an organizational change manager (OCM) or a business analyst (BA), stop, look, and listen to what Janssen has to say.” (Ernest Hughes, computingreviews.com, May, 2016)
