About this book

This volume confronts the meaning of politics in international relations. While it seems unnecessary to state that politics is embedded in international relations, it is important to explore how politics informs the discipline and what limits are placed on the political. Looking at themes as wide-ranging as culture, globalization, the state and citizenship, the authors show that international relations not only has much to gain from a reconsideration of politics, but that there is also much that international relations has to offer.
