The Transfer Desk is our manuscript transfer service for all manuscripts that have been rejected for reasons other than quality. Finding a journal which suits individual manuscripts in both scope and impact is often a difficult process for authors. Even when a paper is of sufficient quality, you as an Editor may have to reject it because your journal was not the correct choice. With our Transfer Desk service, you can offer authors the option of transferring their manuscript to another Springer journal, providing them with an alternative route to publication. You can suggest a journal title if you like, but don't have to: our service will help authors find the best venue for their work. A transfer does not guarantee acceptance, but it does help authors to resubmit their article to another, more suitable journal.
