About Me

After completing my PhD in Molecular Biology at the University of Heidelberg in 2011, I’ve moved to the Engineering and Applied Science Editorial in Springer, with the aim of fostering book publications in interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary areas of science and technology. Together with authoritative authors and editors, I’ve been looking after different kind of books, including scientific and professional monographs, textbooks and proceedings. My topics span from classical mechanical and electrical engineering areas, to hybrid fields such as Bio- and Neuro-engineering, Ocean Engineering, Computational Intelligence, Engineering Ethics and Technology Assessment, among others. I’m delighted to discuss ideas about new books in those areas and, more in general, books addressing emerging scientific communities, industries and university courses.
