Springer Customer Service Center, founded in 1977, is Springer Science+Business Media's main service provider for customer support and logistics, focusing on the Science, Technology. Medical (STM) Division.

Springer Customer Service Center serves as a central warehouse and has two sites in Heidelberg, Germany and New York, supplying customers in around 90 countries with books, journals, looseleaf works, advertising materials, and electronic media. Its target group includes scientific publishing companies, industrial companies, the book trade, and private customers.

The group’s publishing houses that deliver their products through Springer Customer Service Center can put together the service package they require, ranging from pick and pack, customer service to complete delivery, including financing, del credere agency, and cash management.

The customer service call center provides services in German, English, French, Italian, and Spanish and is open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. in Europe and during normal office hours in the USA. The call center serves some 10,000 booksellers throughout the world and about 125,000 private customers.
