About this book
This book explains the strategic appeal of innovation and entrepreneurship education based on the systematic analysis of the key characteristics and constraints of China’s economic transformation and upgrading. The book presents results related to studying the common trends of innovation and entrepreneurship education at the times of economic globalization and the experience of major countries, exploring the cultivation model of key innovation and entrepreneurship talents and mechanism of the innovation and entrepreneurship education ecosystem. Based on ecology and system theory, this book puts forward the concept of “global ecology” to explain the complex relationship among various elements in the process of innovation and entrepreneurship education.

About the author
Professor Xiaozhou Xu is Outstanding Scholar in the field of comparative education and entrepreneurship education. He is Qiushi Chair Professor at Zhejiang University, President of the Communication University of Zhejiang, and Chang Jiang Scholars Chair Professor of MOE in China. He also holds the UNESCO Chair in Entrepreneurship Education and is President of the UNESCO Entrepreneurship Education Network National Chapter of China. He undertook international and national research projects from UNESCO, and National Social Science Fund of China. He has published over a hundred essays in key academic journals and over twenties monographs. Over ten research outcomes were rewarded by Ministry of Education of China and Zhejiang Province Government.
