About the editor

Dr. Kapil Gupta is working as an Associate Professor at the Department of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering Technology at the University of Johannesburg. He received his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering with specialization in Advanced Manufacturing from the Indian Institute of Technology Indore, India, in 2014. His research interests include advanced machining processes, sustainable manufacturing, precision engineering and gear technology. Dr. Gupta has published several articles in various SCI Journal articles and delivered presentations at a number of international conferences. With over five years of professional experience, his current research focuses on advanced/modern machining, sustainable manufacturing and gear engineering.
