He has been a specialist examiner and question designer for the Urology residency exam over the last 3 years and have been a teaching professor at Department of Urology (Tehran University of Medical Sciences) for more than three years. He brought the novel student-centered teaching assistantship style.
In 2015 he passed a short course in France at the Ténon Hospital under the supervision of Traxon and received certificate in intra-renal surgery. He won the Sina Festival prize in 2015, and he has been responsible for the training of Urology Assistants at first section in Sina Hospital for more than 19 years. To date, Dr. Aghamir have conducted and published more than 20 PhD specialized dissertations and five Persian-language books. He has published more than 32 research articles in Urology, of which some of them have been registered as a new technique in Urology and have been registered in the “Campbells” text book. At the present time, Dr. Aghamir is the head of the Department of Urology Research Center at the Tehran University of Medical Sciences and Vice-Chancellor/Vice President of Sina Hospital.
