Publications from more than 160 years – the Springer Book Archives
The Springer Book Archives have been completed and include over 110,000 books published between the 1840s and 2005 on SpringerLink.
The Springer Book Archives consist of high-quality digital versions of books from Springer (and about 40 imprints) published between 1842 and 2005, including many titles that were previously out-of-print. Springer is pleased that they are now available again, both online and in print.
This project affirms our commitment to preserving valuable scholarly content and enables researchers all over the world to access a wealth of information through their libraries. Your book plays an important part in this effort!
Archiving project for books published by Palgrave Macmillan
Following the merger of Macmillan Science and Education with Springer Science+Business Media into Springer Nature, we are pleased to inform you about our new digitization initiative for backlist titles published by Palgrave Macmillan. Palgrave Macmillan is a global academic and business publisher for the Humanities and Social Sciences (HSS) with an unbroken publishing tradition of over 170 years of academic publishing.
Books that were previously published in print format only will be made available as eBooks on SpringerLink – with all the benefits that state-of-the-art electronic publishing entails. Palgrave Macmillan books will never ‘go out of print’ and can be preserved for future use.
