Wireless Personal Communications

SPECIAL ISSUE ON

RELIABLE AND SECURE E-HEALTH NETWORKS

http://www.springer.com/journal/11277

Overview:
Increasining, electronic health (e-health) are becoming a norm in our society, and the volume, variety, velocity and veracity of healthcare data are also increasing. Due to the nature of the healthcare data (e.g. patient’s medical history and diagnosis), e-health network reliability and security are crucial. While e-health network reliability and security have been the focus of research in recent years, many open research issues remain, particularly as technologies advance. For example, traditional security strategies may not have kept pace with advances in e-health technologies and societial requirements (e.g. increasing privacy regulations). Thus, the objective of this special issue is to present state-of-the-art advances and research opportunities on the topics of e-health network reliability and security.
Topics
Original unpublished contributions, and not currently under review to another journal or conference, are solicited in relevant areas including, but not limited to, the following:
- Key Infection, Secrecy Transfer, and Key Evolution for E-health Networks
- Key Distribution, Key Management, and Key Agreement for E-health Networks
- Multimedia Information Hiding and Identification over E-health Networks
- Information Hiding based on Healthcare Data
- Anti-Collusion Fingerprinting for E-health Networks
- Anti-Collusion Codes and Detection Methods over E-health Networks
- Healthcare Data Security and Privacy
- System and Computing Security over E-health Networks
- Reliability and Security Routing Protocols for E-health Networks
- Information and Network Security in Big Data and Cloud Computing
- Blockchain Technologies for Securing E-health Networks
Important Dates:
l Manuscript Submission Deadline: December 15, 2018
l Notification of Acceptance/Revision/Rejection: March 15, 2019
l Revised Paper Submission: May 15, 2019
l Final Decision Notification: June 15, 2019
l Final Paper Submission: July 15, 2019
