    Aims and Scope


    The international journal publishes review articles on science, technology and clinical applications of Biomanufacturing.
    Biomanufacturing covers the design, fabrication, assembly and measurement of bio-elements into structures, devices, and systems, and its interfacing and integration into/with larger scale structures in vivo or in vitro environment, making heterogeneity, scalability and sustainability possible.

    This journal aims at providing a peer-reviewed forum for the publication of authoritative state-of-the-art review papers in the field of biomanufacturing, for tissue engineering and regenerative medicine. It builds a link between original articles, innovations published in patents, and state-of-the-art knowledge on materials (e.g. biopolymers, hydrogels, bioceramics, biocomposites, cells), technology (e.g. electrospinnning, additive fabrication, cell printing, patterning and organ printing), computer science (e.g. medical imaging, computer-aided biomanufacturing and tissue engineering), cell-integrated biological systems and its applications (e.g. bone, cartilage, nerve and skin regeneration).
