    Aims and Scope

Mediterranean Geoscience Reviews covers all fields of geology and physical geography which are related to the Mediterranean basins and surrounding regions. The journal is a niche for high-quality original research and review studies in all major disciplines of geosciences such as tectonics, geochemistry, sedimentology, paleontology, petrology, mineralogy, volcanology, engineering and petroleum geology, marine geology, natural hazards, hydrogeology and water resources, engineering geology and environment, paleoenvironment and paleoclimate studies, geoarchaeology, geological heritage, and geomorphology and physical geography. In particular, the journal also aims to attract special issues on thematically linked subjects composed of collected research papers from symposia and meetings (topical collections).
