We invite you to take a closer look at this high impact journal.

Interview with Editors-in-Chief Georges Beaudoin and Bernd Lehmann:

Why is the journal important to the field?

Mineralium Deposita is one of several distinguished journals in economic geology. Diversity in the spectrum of journals also allows broader diversity of scientific views. Our Editorial Board, including the editorial offices in Canada and Germany, reflect a truely international and muticultural commitment and gurantees high scientific standards.

What is the key distinguishing aspect of the journal?

Fast online publication of top quality papers combined with flexibility in our editorial philosophy.

How has the journal shaped/contributed to the field since its launch?

The journal has always been open to non-conventional views and has contributed significantly to shaping of metallogenic models for more than 50 years.

Which emerging research trend is reflected in the journal? Which current trends shape the field?

We try to go beyond the mainstream. Current trends are much influenced by the advent of in situ analytical methods.
