Innovative Infrastructure Solutions is now indexed in the Emerging Sources Citation Index (ESCI) database of Clarivate Analytics’ (formerly Thomson Reuters’) Web of Science (ISI). This ESCI indexation is the first step before the coverage in Science Citation Index (SCI) database which will allow the journal to receive an Impact Factor. Indexing the journal in ESCI will improve its visibility and provides it with a mark of quality. Moreover, Innovative Infrastructure Solutions is now discoverable via the Web of Science (ISI) with full citation counts. Articles published in the journal are now considered for our authors’ H-Index calculation.
Innovative Infrastructure Solutions is already indexed/abstracted in Google Scholar, EBSCO Discovery Service, GeoRef, OCLC, Summon by ProQuest, Transport Research International Documentation (TRID).

The GeoMEast 2017 International Congress and Exhibition: Sustainable Civil Infrastructures, which was held in Sharm El-Sheikh, Egypt on 15–19 July 2017, was marked with a Great Success in all aspects. The meeting enjoyed the participation of +300 attendees throughout the conference’s 5 days from 48 country (Africa, Asia, Europe, North America, South America, Australia and Russia). The GeoMEast 2017 included 3 Official Lectures, 7 Honors Lectures, 28 Keynote Lectures, 4 Workshops and 6 Short Courses covering all themes of the Sustainable Civil Infrastructures. The GeoMEast 2017 has received the honor to welcoming the most influential professionals from around the globe to Egypt: The 2017 President of The American Society of Civil Engineers, The President of the International Society for Soil Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering (ISSMGE), The Vice-President of the International Geosynthetics Society, The Vice-President of the ISSMGE , 2 Nominees for the ISSMGE President (2017-2021), 5 Chairmen of the Transportation Research Board (TRB) technical committees, 4 Chairmen of the ISSMGE technical committees, 8 Presidents of international professional firms, Scientific Attaché of the Italian Embassy in Cairo representing the International Association for Engineering Geology (IAEG), The spiritual father of the science of Rock Mechanics, Professor Nick Barton, and Distinguished Board Members of the ASCE, ISSMGE, DFI, IGS and IAEG. Over 10 Official Media channels and over 15 Official Press magazines, in Egypt and in Middle East Countries have covered the whole event. The participants enjoyed some memorable social events (Gala Dinner, Bedouin Dinner, Cruise Dinner) in the City of Peace Sharm El-Sheikh. The Scientific Committee of GeoMEast 2017 has received over 750 submissions, and has finally accepted 325 full papers that have been published in 15 Edited Volumes by Springer Nature in Germany. The Editors are a group of international experts from around the globe, which has guaranteed a good scientific quality for the proceedings.

    Aims and Scope



    The journal aims to present innovative studies serving the general disciplines of the sustainable infrastructures and geotechnical engineering. This journal also has a special intention to help the worldwide countries to develop their existing and new infrastructures in terms of mitigating and adapting to Climate Change. Worldwide engineers are invited to submit their contributions, and to transfer the knowledge between the worldwide researchers. This journal accepts Technical notes, Technical papers, Review paper, and State-of-the-art papers. Theoretical papers are welcomed, but there should be a clear and significant potential for practical application of the theory. Practice-oriented papers and case studies are particularly welcomed and encouraged.
