Der Beitrag von Maria Mulisch bietet einen Überblick über die Techniken der Immunmarkierung für licht- und elektronenmikroskopische Präparate. Es werden Grundlagen der Eigenschaften, Auswahl, Reinigung und Auswahl von Antikörpern vermittelt und verschiedene Detektionssysteme (Enzyme, Fluorochrome, kolloidales Gold) und Signalverstärkungsmethoden vorgestellt und durch Tabellen ergänzt. Probleme und Fehlerquellen sind tabellarisch zusammengefasst und bieten übersichtlich Lösungsmöglichkeiten. Ausgewählte, detaillierte Anleitungen ergänzen und veranschaulichen den Text.

About the author

Maria Mulisch lehrt, forscht und arbeitet seit mehr als 30 Jahren im Bereich Zellbiologie mit Hilfe von Licht- und elektronenmikroskopischen Methoden. Sie hat an der Universität Heidelberg promoviert, an der Universität zu Köln habilitiert und ist jetzt wissenschaftliche Leiterin der Zentralen Mikroskopie an der CAU Kiel.
