About the authors

L.S. Jayashree is currently serving as a Professor at the Computer Science and Engineering Department of PSG College of Technology, Tamilnadu, India. She is a Fellow of Institution of Engineers (India) and Senior member of IEEE. She is also an active member of other professional bodies like ACM, CSI and CSTA. She has received a number of prestigious best project awards, and has published more than 200 papers in national and international refereed journals and conference proceedings. Her research papers have been abstracted and indexed in ACM, IEEE Xplore, SCI, SCI-E, Scopus, Thomson Reuters, CiteSeer, and Scopus. Her areas of expertise include mobile and wireless networking technologies, wireless sensor networks, IoT-based systems and applied soft computing. She has chaired several sessions at national and international conferences and is a reviewer for various international journals. She is currently involved in two R & D projects funded by the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India, as well as consultancy work in the field of artificial intelligence applications for assistive technology solutions.

G. Selvakumar is currently working as an Associate Professor at the Computer Science and Engineering Department at Sri Shakthi Institute of Engineering Technology, Coimbatore, India. He received his Bachelor of Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering degree in 2001 and Master of Engineering , Computer Science and Engineering degree in 2005. He has 5 years of experience in developing enterprise software applications especially for the banking and capital markets industry in Capgemini, India. He has expertise in Java, J2EE, web technologies and Android mobile applications development. He has 8 years of teaching and research experience. His primary research interests are Internet of Things, cloud computing and enterprise applications development, and he has published 10 papers in international journals and conferences. He iscurrently pursuing his Ph.D at Anna University, Chennai, India.

L. Ashok Kumar is a Professor at the Department of Electrical & Electronics Engineering, PSG College of Technology, Coimbatore. He is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at San Diego State University, California, and received a BHAVAN fellowship from Indo US Science and Technology Forum. He has authored 6 books, holds 5 patents, has completed 16 Government-of-India-funded projects and is involved in 8 current projects. His areas of interest include wearable electronics, power electronics & drives, smart grid, solar PV and wind energy systems.
