This book outlines the current status of the environment in the Republic of Adygea in Russia. Bedanokov – Academician of the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences, Professor, Doctor of economics, Candidate of physico-mathematical sciences, Honorary Employee of Higher Professional Education of the Russian Federation, marked with gratitude from the President of Russia, Honored Scientist of the Republic of Adygea, Dean of Engineering Faculty at Maykop State Technological University (Maykop, Republic of Adygea, Russia). He is a specialist in mathematics, physics and systems analysis, environmental sciences, economics and road transport management, in the field of regional economy and economics of the agro-industrial complex. Author of more than 100 scientific papers and 10 monographs.

Prof., Dr. Sergey A. Lebedev - Doctor of physico-mathematical sciences, Chief Scientist at the Geophysical Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences (Moscow, Russia), a Head of the Laboratory of Geoinformatics, geoecology and rational nature management at Maykop StateTechnological University (Maykop, Republic of Adygea, Russia), Professor at National Research University of Electronic Technology (MIET, Moscow, Russia), Honorary Professor of Tver State University (Russia). He is a specialist in geophysics, environmental sciences, physical oceanography, regional climate change, satellite altimetry and remote sensing. Author of over 200 peer-reviewed papers.

Prof., Dr. Andrey G. Kostianoy - Doctor of physico-mathematical sciences, Chief Scientist at the P.P. Shirshov Institute of Oceanology of the Russian Academy of Sciences (Moscow, Russia), a Visiting Professor at the University of Liege (Belgium), Honorary Professor of Tver State University (Russia). He is a specialist in physical oceanography, regional climate change, satellite remote sensing, environmental sciences and water resources. He is Editor-in-Chief of “The Handbook of Environmental Chemistry” and “Springer Water” book editions in Springer Publishing House (Germany), memberof the editorial board of the Journal of Marine Systems ”(Netherlands),“ International Water Technology Journal ”(Egypt), Editor-in-Chief of the “Journal of Oceanological Research” (Russia) and a member of the editorial board of several Russian and international journals. Author of over 300 peer-reviewed papers, author and/or editor of 70 books, including the Encyclopedia of the Black, Caspian, Aral, Japan, Okhotsk, Bering, Barents, White, Kara, Laptev, East Siberian, Chukchi, Baltic, Adriatic, Ionian seas and the Arctic Ocean, published in 2006-2021 in publishing houses "International Relations" (Russia) and "Springer" (Germany).
