About the editors

Vimal K E K received the Ph.D. degree in Sustainable Manufacturing in 2016 and the M.Tech degree in Industrial Engineering in 2012 from National Institute of Technology Tiruchirappalli, India, and the Production Engineering degree in 2010, from the PSG College of Technology, India. He has Vimal K E K received the Ph.D. degree in Sustainable Manufacturing in 2016 and the M.Tech degree in Industrial Engineering in 2012 from National Institute of Technology Tiruchirappalli, India, and the Production Engineering degree in 2010, from the PSG College of Technology, India. He has as Guest Editors in prestigious International Journals. Presently, acts as a reviewer for more than 20 prestigious Web of Science journals. In addition, he has also published as an author (and co-author) 2 books with International Publishers, 20 book chapters, and more than 80 articles in Journals and Conferences. He is currently working as Assistant Professor, Department of Production Engineering, National Institute of Technology Tiruchirapalli, India.

Dr. Sonu Rajak is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the National Institute of Technology Patna, India. He received his Ph.D. and M.Tech. Degree in Industrial Engineering from the National Institute of Technology Tiruchirappalli, India. He received his Bachelor's Degree in Production Engineering from the B.I.T. Sindri, Vinoba Bhave University India. He has more than 14 years of experience in both the academic and industrial sectors. He has published 30 technical papers in peer-reviewed international journals, seven book chapters, and 14 articles presented in conferences at international levels. His research interests are in broad areas of Production and Industrial Engineering with a specific interest in Supply Chain Management, Industry 4.0, Sustainability, Optimisation, and Sustainable Manufacturing.

Prof. Vikas Kumar is an Associate Dean for Research, Innovation and Enterprise, atBirmingham City University, UK. He holds a Ph.D. in Management Studies from the University of Exeter, UK. Prof Kumar has over a decade of teaching and research experience and is a leading researcher in the operations and supply chain management field. Prof Kumar has published 6+ books and more than 250 articles in leading international journals and international conferences. He has also generated over £1 million in research funding from various research agencies.

Dr. Rahul S Mor is a faculty and researcher of Business Systems & Operations at the University of Northampton, UK. He holds a PhD and dual Masters and has over five years of postdoc academic work experience. His research focuses on supply chain & operations management, Industry 4.0, and industrial engg/management, with over 50 journal articles and many books and editorial assignments.


Dr. Almoayied Assayed is the Director of Water, Environment and Climate Change Centre at the Royal Scientific Society (RSS) of Jordan. He has more than 20 years of experience in environmental resilience, water and food nexus, and green solutions for sustainable development. He is a prominent advocate for environmental governance and the use of advanced digital technologies as catalysts for the green transition and food traceability. Currently, Dr. Assayed is leading $5.5 million donor-funded research projects focusing on water innovative technologies, land degradation neutrality, and circular economy.
