About the author
Jiasheng Tao is currently Professor at China Academy of Space Technology. His research focuses on space optical remote sensing. As one of the technical leaders, he has participated in the research and development of China's first-generation manned space surveillance camera, the performance evaluation and the optical machine structure design of the the wide field camera, the geostationary orbit optical remote sensing satellite, and the geostationary orbit high-resolution optical remote sensing satellite. He has also engaged in national projects of the development of the stereo mapping camera, the high-resolution camera, the GEO hyperspectral satellite, and the GEO infrared early warning satellite. His current interests include high orbit photoelectric integrated detection and pre-research of the next generation of very large satellites.
