About the editors
Prof. Ajay Jaiswal is currently serving as the Principal at the School of Open Learning, University of Delhi, Delhi. Prior to this role, he was a Professor in the Department of Computer Science at Shaheed Sukhdev College of Business Studies, also part of the University of Delhi. Prof. Jaiswal has made significant contributions to the field of computer science through his research and publications. He is the co-editor of several books/journals and has co-authored numerous research papers in international journals and conference proceedings. His primary research interests lie in the areas of pattern recognition, image processing, and machine learning. Among his notable projects is the interdisciplinary project titled "Financial Inclusion-Issues and Challenges: An Empirical Study," in which he served as the Co-Principal Investigator. This project was awarded by the University of Delhi, highlighting the practical impact and relevance of his research. Prof. Jaiswal's educational background is distinguished. He obtained his master's degree from the University of Roorkee (now IIT Roorkee) and his Ph.D. from Jawaharlal Nehru University, Delhi. In recognition of his excellence in teaching, he received the Best Teacher Award from the Government of NCT of Delhi. With over 24 years of teaching experience, Prof. Jaiswal has significantly contributed to the academic community through both his teaching and research efforts.
Dr. Sameer Anand is currently serving as an Associate Professor in the Department of Operational Research, Faculty of Mathematical Sciences, University of Delhi, Delhi. He holds an M.Sc., M.Phil., and Ph.D. in Software Reliability, all from the Department of Operational Research, University of Delhi.He is a recipient of ‘Best Teacher Award’ (2012) instituted by Directorate of Higher Education, Govt. of NCT, Delhi. He has also organized five International Conferences and worked in different capacities. Dr. Anand is an Associate Editor of the” International Journal of System Assurance Engineering and Management”. His Research area includes Software Reliability, Mathematical Modelling, Optimisation, Machine Learning. Dr. Anand has published over 40 research papers in journals/conference proceedings, and book chapters. His research articles have appeared in prestigious journals such as IEEE Transactions on Reliability, Expert Systems, International Journal of Production Research (Taylor & Francis), Multimedia Tools and Applications, and International Journal of Performability Engineering. He has also edited four books having eleven volumes. He is a lifetime member of Society for Reliability Engineering, Quality and Operations Management. Dr. Sameer Anand has more than 20 years of teaching experience in University of Delhi. He is currently teaching courses in Supply Chain Management, Quality Management, and Data Mining. Additionally, he has taught various subjects, including Probability, Statistics, Linear Algebra, Operations Research, and Numerical Analysis. Before joining the university department, Dr. Anand had also served as Professor, Vice Principal as well as Officiating Principal of the college, Shaheed Sukhdev College of Business Studies, DU.
Prof. Aboul Ella Hassanein is the Founder and Head of the Egyptian Scientific Research Group (SRGE) and a Professor of Information Technology at the Faculty of Computer and Artificial Intelligence, Cairo University. Professor Hassanien is an ex-dean of the faculty of computers and information, Beni Suef University. Professor Hassanien has more than 800 scientific research papers published in prestigious international journals and over 40 books covering such diverse topics as data mining, medical images, intelligent systems, social networks, and smart environment. Prof. Hassanien won several awards, including the Best Researcher of the Youth Award of Astronomy and Geophysics of the National Research Institute, Academy of Scientific Research (Egypt, 1990). He was also granted a scientific excellence award in humanities from the University of Kuwait for the 2004 Award and received the scientific - University Award (Cairo University, 2013). Also, He was honored in Egypt as the best researcher at Cairo University in 2013. He was also received the Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ISESCO) prize on Technology (2014) and received the State Award for excellence in engineering sciences 2015. He was awarded the medal of Sciences and Arts of the first class by the President of the Arab Republic of Egypt, 2017.
Prof. Ahmad Taher Azar is a full Professor at Prince Sultan University, Riyadh, Kingdom Saudi Arabia. He is the leader of Automated Systems and Soft Computing Lab (ASSCL), Prince Sultan University, Saudi Arabia. Prof. Azar is the Editor in Chief of the International Journal of Service Science, Management, Engineering, and Technology (IJSSMET) and International Journal of Sociotechnology and Knowledge Development (IJSKD) published by IGI Global, USA. He is also the Editor in Chief of the International Journal of Intelligent Engineering Informatics (IJIEI), Inderscience Publishers, Olney, UK. From 2013 to 2017, Prof. Azar was an associate editor of ISA Transactions, Elsevier. He is currently an associate editor for IEEE Systems Journal, IEEE Transactions on Neural Networks and Learning Systems, IEEE Transactions of Fuzzy Systems, Springer's Human-centric Computing and Information Sciences, and Elsevier's Engineering Applications of Artificial Intelligence. Prof. Azar specializes in artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning, control theory and applications, robotics, computational intelligence, reinforcement learning, and dynamic system modeling. He has published/co-published over 500 research papers, book chapters, and conference proceedings in prestigious peer-reviewed journals.
