    Xueyuan Tian

About the author

Tian Xueyuan, born in August 1938, at Liaoning Benxi, male, Han nationality, graduated from Peking University in August 1964.He is currently a member of the Institute of Population and Labor Economics of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences and a member of the Academic Advisory Committee of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences. He is also the executive vice president of the Chinese Population Association and the vice president of the China Association for Social and Economic Purposes and the International Union of Population Science. His academic expertise is for demography and population economics.In 1984, Ministry of Personnel approved him as “outstanding contributions of young and middle-aged experts”; in 1992, he received special government allowances issued by State Council.
