About this book
This textbook presents the architecture of modern radios as part of radio telecommunication networks/systems. The authors present theoretical and technological techniques for building radios and will provide readers with the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the techniques of modeling individual cascades. The book presents the designs and design methods of radios for various digital networks/systems. The authors show how the structure of the radio path of receivers changes, which new nodes and blocks appear depending on the methods of duplexing and multiple access in the system, as well as the use of MIMO technology, and how the designs of individual cascades and nodes change while maintaining the principle of their operation when implemented using integrated technology. Methods for delivering transmitted information to a specific subscriber in cellular systems of various generations, features of synchronization and correlation processing of signals in the receiver are considered. Readers will learn about the purpose and implementation of individual stages and blocks of the RF front-end those included in multifunctional chipsets. The kit includes a complete set of online training materials, including a solutions manual and examples of computer analysis of various receiver stages in the MicroCAP environment, based on preliminary calculation.
