About the editor

Anil Jindal is an accomplished educator and drug delivery technologist. He has completed his PhD in Pharmaceutics at the Institute of Chemical Technology, Mumbai, India. After completing his studies, he worked as a Research Scientist at IPCA Laboratories, Mumbai. In 2014, he transitioned to academia and joined the Department of Pharmacy at Birla Institute of Technology and Science Pilani as an Assistant Professor and was promoted to Associate Professor in 2021. His research focuses on developing nanotechnology-based drug delivery systems to effectively deliver small molecules and therapeutic peptides. He has published numerous research papers and book chapters. He has received numerous awards for his work, including the Professor M. L. Khurana Memorial Award for the best research paper in Pharmaceutics and Biopharmaceutics in 2010, the Eudragit Award in 2017, and the Early Career Research Award in 2019. His supervised research has also been recognized with several awards, and one of his PhD students received the prestigious Sun Pharma Science Scholar Award in 2020. Considering his research contribution, he has been appointed as a managing theme editor of the Advanced Drug Delivery Reviews (Impact factor:17.87).
