Zhenyu Mei, Ph.D. Associate Professor, Department of Civil Engineering, Zhejiang University , Anzhong Building, Zijingang Campus,Zhejiang University.
Mr Julius Komba is a senior research engineer at the South African Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR). He is a graduateof Civil Engineering, and also holds a Bachelor of Engineering Honours (Transportation Engineering) and Master of Transportation Engineering, all from the University of Pretoria in South Africa.He has been involved in several road infrastructure research projects in South Africa, Tanzania, Bangladesh, Mozambique and Malawi. His research interests focusin road pavement design, construction and maintenance, forensic investigation into the causes of premature failures of pavements, road asset management, long-term pavement performance monitoring, testing and modelling mechanical properties of road construction materials.He has authored/co-authored over 50 articles in peer-reviewed journals, book chapters, and conference proceedings. He is a member of the South African Institution of Civil Engineers (SAICE),and serves on several South African Technical Committees for developing/revising specifications, manuals and guidelines for road pavement design. He is currently an editorial board member of the ASTM Journal of Testing and Evaluation, and serves as a technical reviewer for several international journals and conferences.
