Many developing countries have embarked on liberalisation programmes in recent years. One such programme which has attracted wide attention and posed a number of analytical issues is that undertaken by Turkey during the 1980s. The nine essays in this volume provide an analytical review of recent developments in relation to Turkey's economic transactions.
