About the editors
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Md Mizanur Rahman is a Chartered Energy Engineer is currently working as an Associate Professor in the Mechatronics Engineering Department at World University of Bangladesh, Dhaka, Bangladesh. Dr. Rahman has more than fifteen years Teaching and Research experiences and his research interest lies in both fundamental and applied aspects of Energy Technologies, especially in new technologies to harvest electrical energy from solar, biomass and hydro sources. Dr. Rahman has published more than 55 research papers in the various journals and national & international conference proceedings. In addition Dr. Rahman has published four book chapters under Springer Nature and WIT publisher and also holds a Patent on natural draft cooling tower.
Prof. Dr. Christopher Chi-Ming Chu is a Professor of Chemical Engineering Programme, Faculty of Engineering, and Fellow of Material and Minerals Research Unit, Universiti Malaysia Sabah. He obtained a B.Sc. (Hons.) and Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from University of Birmingham, and an LL.B. in Bachelor of Laws from University of London. For 16 years he worked on Heat Transfer and Fluid Flow Services (HTFS) projects in plumes, air-cooled heat exchangers, shell and tube evaporator and condenser, and falling film evaporation of mixtures. His Effective Plume-Chimney Height method is referred by a textbook for the design of air-cooled heat exchangers operating under natural convection. His research interests are cold inflow, plume-chimney and passive cooling.Bibliographic Information
