Wai-mei LUI is the Project Manager of ‘The Influence of Liberal Studies on Students’ Participation in Socio-political Activities: The Case of the Umbrella Movement in Hong Kong,’ a research initiative exploring the relationship between Liberal Studies and political development in Hong Kong. She joined the University of Hong Kong’s Faculty of Education in 2015 and has since then participated in the publication of local civic educationresearch.
