Overview
- This book expands the size and shape of the very serious playground that is academic work and we believe the way forward is to examine and fine-tune our most precious instrument in research: writing.
- Writing is our most important means of communication and dissemination of results within and beyond academia. However, the process and practice of academic writing is often left out of important international agendas such as Open Science, innovation and impact.
- This, we claim, is a prerequisite for more academic work that heads the Open Science calls for impact beyond academia and a first step towards more democratic and engaged ways of interaction between the scientific community and society.
