Noch immer besteht in der betriebswirtschaftlichen Theorie und Praxis eine Lücke zwischen der Organisations- und der IT-Systemgestaltung. Christian Horstmann stellt auf der Basis eines systemtheoretischen Ansatzes einen Zusammenhang zwischen der Integration und Flexibilität des Organisationssystems und der des IT-Systems her.
