Innerhalb der Theorie des Kapitalmarkts entwickelte sich das sogenannte CAPM (Capital Asset Pricing Model) zu einem der wichtigsten Bewertungsmodelle für Finanzkontrakte. Andreas Löffler betont bei der Analyse dieses Modells hauptsächlich den gleichgewichtstheoretischen Aspekt - eine Sichtweise, die in der Literatur bisher vernachlässigt wurde. Er weist nach, daß der in den 80er Jahren in der Praxis aufgetretene Size-Effekt auch theoretisch formulierbar ist und somit in die Theorie des CAPM integriert werden kann.

About the author

Nach erfolgreicher Promotion im Fach Mathematik 1992 erhielt Dr. Andreas Löffler für seine wirtschaftswissenschaftliche Dissertation 1995 den Dissertationspreis der europäischen Investionsbank. Er ist wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter an der Humboldt-Universität, Berlin.
