He has also been Assistant Honorary Professor in the Faculty of Dentistry at the University of Hong Kong. Professor Rosa is a member of the editorial board of the Journal of Investigative and Clinical Dentistry and also of Biology Studies (Brazil) and Archives of Oral Research (Brazil). His research interests include the modulation of microbial virulence by xenobiotics and endobiotics and by environmental stress; microbial biotransformation of xenobiotics and endobiotics; and the molecular epidemiology of pathogens. Professor Rosa has published widely in national and international journals.
