Anna Soßdorf untersucht die politischen Offline- und Online-Aktivitäten von Jugendlichen, um die Krisendiagnose einer politisch nahezu unbeteiligten Jugend zu überprüfen. Ihren Fokus richtet sie dabei auf die Frage, inwieweit sich Partizipation im Internet für Jugendliche niedrigschwellig darstellt. Einen weiteren Schwerpunkt ihrer Arbeit bilden die Motive und Einflussfaktoren, die mit politischer Teilhabe Jugendlicher im und außerhalb des Internets im Zusammenhang stehen. Die Studie legt vielseitige Befunde zur politischen Teilhabe Jugendlicher vor und zeigt Problemlagen, Chancen sowie notwendige Voraussetzungen im Hinblick auf eine nachhaltige Einbindung Jugendlicher in politische Offline- und Online-Welten auf.
