This book constitutes the refereed proceedings of the 6th International Conference on Information Systems and Management of Data, CISMOD '95, held in Bombay, India, in November 1995.
The book presents 14 revised full papers selected from some 60 submissions together with six invited papers by leading experts. These papers address the central issues of research and advanced application in the area of data management and information systems engineering; they are organized in sections on query processing, distributed systems, performance evaluation, knowledge discovery, real-time database systems, product and process design, and conceptual modelling.
