About this book

This book constitutes the proceedings of the 9th International Conference on Wireless and Satellite Services, WiSATS 2017, held in Oxford, UK, in September 2017. The conference was formerly known as the International Conference on Personal Satellite Services (PSATS) mainly covering topics in the satellite domain. 

The aim of this conference is to bring together researchers, developers and practitioners from around the world in the field of wireless and satellite systems. The theme of WiSATS 2017 was on the means of using the wireless and satellite services directly to the user for personal communications, multimedia and location identification.
