About the editors

Leslie P. Willcocks is Professor in Technology, Work and Globalization at the Department of Management at the London School of Economics and Political Science, UK. He heads the LSE’s Outsourcing Unit research centre and is Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Information Technology.  Previously he taught at Oxford University for nine years. His doctorate is from the University of Cambridge.



Ilan Oshri is Professor of technology and globalisation at Loughborough University, UK. He is the author of Offshoring Strategies: Evolving Captive Centers Models (MIT Press, 2011), and the co-author of The Handbook of Global Outsourcing and Offshoring (Palgrave, 2015). He has co-authored 13 books and published numerous articles in academic and professional journals. His work on outsourcing was featured on BBC Radio 4 and in BusinessWeek, The Financial Times and many other outlets. Ilan is a regular speaker in international conferences and a keynote speaker in corporate and industry events.




Julia Kotlarsky is a Professor of Technology and Global Sourcing at Aston Business School, UK. Her research interests revolve around outsourcing and offshoring of services, globally distributed teams, knowledge and innovation. She has published her work in numerous journals including MIS Quarterly, the European Journal of Information Systems, the Journal of Strategic Information Systems and Communication Research. Julia has published 12 books, among them The Handbook of Global Outsourcing and Offshoring. She serves as Associate Editor for MIS Quarterly and Senior Editor for the Journal of Information Technology, and is co-founder of the annual Global Sourcing Workshop.
