About the authors
Adelia Sequeira is a Professor of applied mathematics and numerical analysis, at the Instituto Superior Técnico, University of Lisbon. She specializes in applications to biomedicine, in particular in cardiovascular modeling and simulations. She is co-author of 200 research papers published in peer-reviewed journals, book chapters and conference proceedings, and editor of several books.
